各位同學，您好：
依據「中山大學學士班學生英文能力培育要點」第三條之規定，
同學須參加本校舉辦之「114學年度第二學期學士班英文分級測驗」，以確定您的英文分級，未參加本測驗者，一律分為英文初級。
但是，若同學於2026年2月23日星期一舉行的英文分級測驗以前，
已經辦理過「英文分級變更」或是「通識英文抵免」，則不需要參與本次英文分級測驗！！

測驗詳細考試時間及規定如下：
一、若您的國籍為英語系國家(英國、美國、加拿大、澳洲、紐西蘭、愛爾蘭、南非等以英語為母語之國家)，無需參加本測驗，請備妥護照及中學(含)以上成績單至本中心填寫申請表提出免修申請。
二、考試時間：2026年2月23日（星期一）下午16:20–17:30
三、考試教室：綜合大樓 GE4016教室
四、考試內容：英文聽力+英文閱讀測驗。
五、考試規定：
1.請務必攜帶學生證或其他附照片之個人身分證件（身分證、駕照、僑外生可攜帶護照或居留證）以及2B鉛筆、藍色或黑色原子筆、橡皮擦應試。
2.考試開始後，考生不得提前繳卷離場。
七、查詢分級結果：
1.請於2026年2月24日（星期二）至西灣學院〈最新消息〉及學生選課系統〈英文分級查詢〉查詢英文分級結果。

Note: For new students, such as special selections, overseas Chinese students, or transfer students, which are not through the General Scholastic Ability Test (GSAT) or Advanced Subjects Test (AST).
Dear Students,
In accordance with Article 3 of the "NSYSU Guidelines for Undergraduate Student English Proficiency Cultivation," students are required to participate in the "2nd Semester, 114th Academic Year Undergraduate English Placement Test" to determine their English proficiency level. Students who fail to take this test will automatically be placed in the Basic Level.
However, please note: If you have completed the application for "English Level upgrade" or "General English Credit Waiver" prior to the test date (Monday, February 23, 2026), you are NOT required to take this placement test!
Detailed Test Schedule and Regulations:
I. Exemption for Students from English-Speaking Countries: If you hold citizenship from an English-speaking country (e.g., UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, South Africa, etc.) where English is the native language, you are exempt from this test. Please bring your passport and official transcripts from high school (or above) to the Center to fill out an application form for exemption.
II. Test Date & Time: February 23, 2026 (Monday) | 16:20 – 17:30
III. Test Venue: General Building, Room GE4016
IV. Test Content: English Listening Comprehension + English Reading Comprehension.\
V. Test Regulations:
Mandatory Items: You must bring your Student ID or another government-issued ID with a photo (National ID, Driver’s License; international students may use a Passport or ARC). Please also bring a 2B pencil, a blue or black ballpoint pen, and an eraser.
Once the exam begins, candidates are not permitted to submit their answer sheets or leave the venue early.
VI. Checking Results:
1. Please check your results on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, via the Si Wan College "Latest News" or the Student Course Selection System under "English Level Inquiry."

If you have already completed the process for "English Level upgrade" or "General English Credit Waiver" before the test on Monday, February 23, 2026, you do NOT need to participate in this English Placement Test!
